Alli and I both had a few days after
Christmas then headed back to work for a few days before New Year’s. We didn’t have any set plans per her friends
were all doing their own thing and we just saw them so I was sending out some
text to my friends to see what was going on.
Usually John and Mel had some people over so I shot them a text to see
what was going on and all. John and Mel
both knew about Alli being pregnant and were so excited, Tony was as well but
again they were guys so I didn’t have to tell them in person. John got back to me letting me know they were
throwing a party and of course we were invited!
I told him we would be there and would bring something to pass. When the day came Alli and I both had to work
but got out a bit early. I got home and
ordered some Chinese Food and had it ready for when she came home. I hear the lock click and in walked
Alli. She wasn’t showing much only being
about 3 months pregnant. We never really
got a full answer on when it happened, I like to joke and say the first night
she however doesn’t want to tell our little one that. It was still too early to know however the
gender but we both were so excited to find out.
Every appointment Alli went to I was right by her side. I heard the door shut as I turned around to
see my beautiful pregnant girlfriend.
She tossed her bag and keys down as I walked up and hugged her. “How are you doing sweetie?” She looked back at me and just said,
“Pregnant.” I smiled and said would you
rather not be. Her eyes dropped and she
hugged me saying of course not. I kissed
her forehead and held her a minute till she started sniffing and then said,
“MMM Chinese Food, I’m starving!” I
laughed and she kicked her shoes off and gave a much needed grunt per she was
exhausted. She went to our room and came
out in comfortable cloths and took her hair out just giving the biggest sigh
telling me she wanted to relax since she got up this morning. She sat down as I brought dinner over and we
started making our dishes. After a quick
prayer and me making a remark about how radiant she looks we started
eating. I asked her how she feels and
she just told me bloated but she said it comes and goes. We ate and talked about work and how we both
have been in contact with our families and of course when we will see them per
now both are bugging us to come over all the time. When Alli and I ate we put our phones down
because they usually are just always going off.
I asked her if she thought about me and her eyes twinkled as she said of
course. She laughed telling me it took
her a few days to come down off that car sex we had. She said she is finally walking
normally. I laughed stopping her and
saying she was the one that ravaged me!
We laughed and continued to eat.
She asked if everything was ready for
tonight and I told her yes I made a small dish to bring but if she doesn’t feel
good we can leave early or skip. She
told me of course not she was excited to see my friends who are now becoming
hers. I told her ok but the minute she
wants to go we leave. She threw me a
smile and told me okay. After dinner
Alli rested on the couch and I cleaned up.
I came over and sat down, starting to rub her feet. She closed her eyes telling me she won’t want
to leave if I continue. I just smiled
rubbing them more and watching a bit of TV before we left. Alli fell asleep and took a small nap as I
prepped our dish to pass. It was close
to 8 and the party started at 8. I
kissed Alli and slowly stroked her hair waking her up softly. She stretched and thanked me for letting her
sleep, she told me she felt much better and went and got dressed. I told her she could go in her comfy cloths
but she wanted to dress up a bit. She
came out in cute jeans, and a tight fitting Tee that showed her small bump. She smiled putting her glasses on knowing I
love them so much. I looked down and she
smiled, she saw me looking at her cute bump and said, “Just in case some girl
hits on you, all I gotta do now is show the bump.” I laughed holding her bump kissing her
telling her I left with her, and I am coming home with her. We put our jackets on, grabbed our dish and
headed out.
When
we arrived I told Alli people maybe over excited so be careful. We walked in and John and Mel rushed us
hugging and screaming. Mel was over
excited and John took our coats and hugging me.
He joked taking me because now Mel is telling him they can have a baby
and get married later. Mel wants a baby
and marriage is not a factor. Mel was so
excited and asked to see her bump, Alli blushed telling her she cat touch
it. Mel placed her hands on her stomach
and just again screamed hugging her. It
was more of a small pouch but forming into a bump no less. We got settled and then Tony came up and gave
us a big hug. He was so excited for us,
he then introduced us to his date Mary.
She was so nice but wasn’t informed.
She asked how long Alli and I have been together and Alli blushed. I smiled saying, “Well a few months.” She apologized and felt bad, Alli smiled
holding me telling her its fine and we are happy. Tony seemed excited about Mary, she looked
really sweet, I hope she settles him down.
We walked further in and Mel came out of the kitchen with a wine glass
full of Orange Juice for Alli, “Here you go Mom to be!” Alli laughed taking it and thanking her. John and Tony announced that I have a DD for
months so I have to drink for two. I put
our food down on the big table and we made our way to saying hi to everyone
there.
I
gave Brittany a hug, I asked where her boyfriend was and she said he couldn’t
make it but something didn’t seem right I again told her if she ever wanted to
talk shoot me a text she smiled and thanked me.
She hugged Alli and was so excited about her new forming bump. Alli was getting so much fun attention and
everyone just took it in like it was no big deal. Alli walked in the family room where everyone
was sitting, Mel walked in telling one of our guy friends to get up so Alli
could sit. He made a joke and Mel hit in
the arm them pushed him off.
She smiled at Alli and told her she has a
seat for her. Alli laughed per the kid
was ok but said he didn’t have to move.
Mel joked saying he was fine and could stand for a bit. I asked Alli if she was ok and she smiled
kissing me and telling me to go mingle a bit with my friends. Mel smiled and said “Yea go, we need girl
talk.” Mel and Alli talked about
everything that happened as my friends and I caught up on pretty much the same
thing.
It
was around 10 and we were having fun playing games, eating and just hanging
out. The house had a good amount of
people and I asked John if more were coming.
He said a few more groups may swing by.
Just then the door opened up and a few guys walked in. Trent was one of them. I didn’t mind and he was starting to become
friends with some of our mutual friends.
The guys came in and started grabbing some drinks, Mel and John greeted
them all and everyone continued watching TV and socializing. Trent looks over and spots Alli and I could
see his eyes raise. He knew the one that
got away was here and he had that look of closure in his face. The look a guy gets where if he can’t close a
deal with a girl he keeps trying till it is.
Honestly he wasn’t too bad of a guy but I mean I didn’t have his number
so that tells you how close we are. He
made his way in the family room were people were sitting, Alli had a blanket on
her lap and was just talking to Brittany and some other girls. Trent walks up and says hi to the girls and
gives Alli a smile. She smiles back and
he asks what happened so long ago. She
just disappeared that night of the party.
She told him something came up and things got complicated. He looked confused but kept trying, he made
some jokes about hanging out tonight and getting some drinks. Alli laughed and said, “I don’t think
drinking is a good idea.” She then stood
up “I’m pregnant.” “Woah…” Trent says
looking down. I honestly heard this go
down as I wasn’t far and just wanted to see how Alli would handle it. However I think is Woah was per he thought
she might have gained weight.
Most
guys are afraid to congratulate girls per they are afraid the girl will say
she’s not pregnant and slap them. I have
this fear to so it is a thing. She knew
she had him on the ringer so she messed him poor Trent a bit. She asked him “What you think I’m fat?” Trent looked down, “No I didn’t say that, I
just…” I was loving this but I felt bad
now for poor Trent. I came up behind him
patting his left shoulder and walking by saying “Drinks aren’t good for the
baby.” I then patted her belly a bit and
handed Alli more OJ. Alli’s eyebrows
raised and she smiled, “Don’t worry Trent it’s not yours.” She said this laughing then said, “You need to
have sex to make a baby.” His guy’s
friends all laughed and pushed him.
“What you tell all your boys you tapped this ass?” She said now with a serious face and moved
closer to him. Trent looked away and
said “No” quietly. “I wouldn’t do that”
he said. One of his friends said out
loud “But you wanted to!” Everyone
laughed again. I felt bad now at this
point and calmed everyone down telling him he would meet the right girl. Trent quietly thanked me as people started
not to pay attention again.
He
told Alli he was happy for her and she thanked him, he joking said if it
doesn’t work out you should call me.
Smiling she told him she thinks we are going to be just fine. I would love to have said we were out of the
woods but we had one more visitor still that night we had to confront. The time was getting later and we were close
to midnight. The door opens one more
time to Amber yelling and some girls walking in. They looked hammered and wearing very skimpy
outfits. Amber yells “what hunk am I
kissing at midnight!” Just then as the
door shuts I see Jess. The girl from the
party where Alli and I finally got settled and figured out. Alli wasn’t found of her only because she was
not the second girl that tried to get with me.
The girls walked in and Jess spotted me.
I thought to myself, oh great here we go. Alli kept her distance per she didn’t care,
she was pregnant and just starting to show.
Jess walked up to me and asked what happened. She was tipsy but not hammered. She asked if I came here alone and needed a
kiss at midnight. Billy who was next to
me told her he thought I would be ok. He
pointed to Alli saying she was my midnight kiss. Jess rolled her eyes telling me she would do
a lot more than kiss me I went with her.
Just then Alli walked up laughing and saying, “Funny so would I.” Jess turns around and just see’s Alli’s baby
small pouch. Hart to tell but Jess
figured it out fast. Her eyes widen, I
guess you do she said laughing. Jess
made a single and free joke and Mel stepped in telling Jess not to get jealous
per nobody will ever get her pregnant.
Jess didn’t say anything per this was Mel’s house and Mel could put her
in the ground.
I
hugged Alli and rubbed her belly, telling Jess it was nice to see her but I
think Alli has this all wrapped up now.
Jess walked away and Alli made joke about setting her up with Trent. We all laughed and just kept talking. Finally it was just about midnight. I held Alli by the living room as everyone
counted down. “10, 9, 8… “I love you so
much Allison Lee Markay.” 5, 4 “I love
you too David Frank Gallow.” 2, 1… HAPPY
NEW YEAR! I kissed Alli and held the
sides of her small bump as she wrapped her arms around me. Time stood still as we kissed and all the
noise in the apartment went quiet in our heads, all I saw and heard was
her. It was such an amazing evening. Everyone kissed and we stopped to hug and
kiss our friends. We stayed a bit later
just visiting with friends but eventually called it a night. We said our goodbyes and hugged all our
friends. Alli left in a glow knowing now
she was not to be messed with and the girls will probably leave me alone.
The ride home was quiet per Alli was
tired. She however looked at me telling
me the past few months have been fun but the honeymoon will end one day and I
may realize she is tough to live with. I
smiled telling her we are going to fight, it is what healthy relationships
do. However we will work it out there
will be good days and bad ones. I told
her this baby may strain our relationship but if we stay strong we will be ok. We got home, cleaned up and fell asleep. As we started to drift she told me that was
such an amazing Year and she can’t wait for next year. I told her the same and said “Next year our
family gets bigger.” She smiled as she
drifted off to sleep. I was so
overwhelming in love with this girl for the first time in a very long time I
was truly happy.
