Chapter 14: What will be, will be….

           I didn’t really speak to Alli at all the next two weeks and it killed me.  I tried to just not think about things but my mind raced.  I haven’t reached out to anyone still, no friends or family just because this was something we had to do.  I wondered who she was speaking to and what she was saying.  What she was thinking. All week I wondered what was going through her head.  The next week went even slower and more painful as we barely spoke, I didn’t eat much and work just felt like it took forever.  I never felt two weeks go by so long in my life.  It was absolutely horrible. I didn’t sleep or anything, just thought about Alli and how I could be there for her.  Friday came and it was cold and rainy.  Not cold enough for snow but cold enough for it to be a pain in the ass.  Rain in December sucks in case you never felt it.  We were about halfway to Christmas and this was how my month was going, it was horrible.  I left work and got some shopping done, I needed food and my kitchen was empty.  After cleaning up and putting everything away my phone beeped, it was a text from Alli…

Alli: Hey…

Me: Hey…

Alli: How are you doing?

Me: How do you think?

Alli: Good point, sorry.

Alli: Can we talk?

Me: I’d like that...

            All of a sudden I heard a knock at my door.  I put my phone down wondering who it could be and answered it.  There in the pouring rain stood Alli. She was shivering, holding two huge suitcases.  Her car parked out front I could tell it was packed with tons of stuff.  She looked at me, her eyes watering.  We stood there until she broke the silence.  “You meant what you said right?”  I moved out of the way and told her to get in here.  She walked in and dropped her bags she looked freezing and soaking wet.  She hugged me, soaked to the bone and crying, “I’m Sorry Dave, I got scared.”  “Shhh, it’s ok.”  I rubbed her head, she gripped me so tightly almost crushing me.  She cried telling me she can’t imagine raising this child separately or with anyone else.  "You are the father and it will need us both," she said.  She backed up and wiped her eyes.  “So I didn’t renew my lease and packed literally everything but my large furniture which I sold. I turned my key in and now everything I have are in these bags and in my car.  I literally have no place to go and all I thought about was being with you.  Giving up everything to be with you. I love you so much David. I want us to be a family and I’m sorry for the past two weeks and what I put you though.” She went on telling me she just decided to do all this this a few days after I left but I didn’t care.  She was crying and trying to dry her eyes. 

She went on “If you honestly are upset or need time I can find a hotel or go to my parents. I will fully understand I promise.”  I went and grabbed a towel and started to dry her off.  I rubbed her shoulders and wrapped the towel around her shoulders and held her.  She was shivering even with a jacket on.  She told me she sat in her car for a while then outside my door getting wet just wondering if I would even want to see her.  She looked at me, “David say something!”  She cried and I smiled stepping back pulling my spare key out of a drawer.  I took her keys out of her hands and placed the key on the ring.  I looked at her and just said, “Welcome Home.”   Tears now pouring down her face and she hugged me.  She cried, “After everything I said and did you go and do this, why?"  “I love you Allison. I’m going to be here for you and we’re going to be ok."  I wiped her eyes and brought her to the couch.  I sat her down and ran out to her car and brought her things in trip by trip till it was empty and her stuff filled the family room.

            I locked her car and then our apartment door.  I looked at her and said, "we’ll that’s everything, we officially live together."  She smiled but cried asking if I was sure.  I went over and kissed her telling her this is one of our best moments.  I made her a cup of tea and she relaxed getting some dry clothes on and sipping it.  We took some time putting her stuff away and eventually she got most of it setup.   She took a long bath and then put PJ’s on. She hugged me in bed, she was doing much better but looked up and said “You are going to get sick of me so fast.”  Laughing I said, “Maybe, but I love you more than you could ever annoy me.”  She smiled and kissed me.  It was very late and we both had one long night, we fell asleep, finally she was back in my arms.

            That night I woke up to her rubbing my back, she was awake and started kissing me softly.  This turned into more passionate and deeper kissing.  Before we knew it I was pulling her clothes off, we were both naked faster than ever.  She whispered “I need you in me David, I need to feel you.”  I played with her as I kissed her neck and chest, I got her wet enough to enter and slide all the way in.  She cried out with the deepest passionate moan.  I said, “Well we don’t need protection now.”  She laughed saying “What will happen, I’ll get pregnant?”  I was glad she laughed and was feeling better.  I went slowly and deep her moans were more intense than ever.  The connection was like none I ever felt.  For the first time we made love while our child grew in side her.  The connection was so strong her legs around my back sliding up.  Her feet almost touched my shoulders.  I was all the way in she kept moaning to fill her, connect with her.  I then sat up, both our naked bodies wrapped up in each other and our sheets.  I took my hands and placed them on her stomach.  This was the first time I touched her belly after the news broke.  Her head tilted back as my skin touched hers.  She closed her eyes and moaned, “Dave.”  I held my hands there and she placed her hands on mine.  I looked down and she opened her eyes.  “We’re having a baby.”  She smiled and said back, “We are.” I started to move again in her going in and out keeping all our hands on her stomach.

When we finally both stopped she moaned we did it.  We came together.  I kissed her still inside her telling her we did.  I eventually slide out, our sheets soaked with sweat and fluids.  She looked up at me asking if it was weird making love to her pregnant.  I told her she will get only sexier and I will probably need it more.  I told her it was amazing and that I will want to be inside her until this baby is out.  She blushed telling me good because she may need sex daily.  She then looked over at me almost cyring, “No regrets?”  I smiled and said, "none…"  She smiled and replied "me either."  She passed out on my chest, we were both so exhausted but so satisfied.  We woke up late the next day wrapped up in our sheets and both naked.  We had nothing to do that day and now that we lived together whatever we needed to do we now could do together or at least have one place to go to.  I leaned down and kissed her stomach and said good morning.  She woke and smiled telling me I better kiss her stomach a lot.  I smiled telling her I would wake her up this way if she wanted.    

           

            I made her some tea as she cleaned up in the bathroom, getting dressed and brushing her teeth.  Placing some of her items in our bathroom.  She came out and said “Well at least you have a spare room for the nursery.”  I smiled and opened the door.  She peeked inside and started crying.  The room was very clean and had hardwood floors with a nice big soft area rung in the center.  In the corner was an old but beautiful rocking chair.  She walked in and I told her my Mom gave it to me.  She used it to rock my sister and I.  There were a few things like a dresser and some other areas to put things as well as getting it baby proofed.  “We have a nursery.”  She said softly and turned kissing me.  Alli now crying harder because I was getting the room prepped.  I told her I was going to get this set for the baby but I’m so glad we can now do it together.  She turned around hugging me tightly.  I love it she said and we can setup the rest together.  We got something to eat then put some of her stuff away or started making arrangements to donate or sell.  She walked over to the couch and sat down, again starting to cry.  I walked over to see her holding the picture frame she got me, in it was our first picture.  She looked at me, “When did you do this?”  I told her last week and that no matter what I wanted a picture of us in my place.  She put it down and got up to kiss me thanking me again for everything.  She told me she wants to fill our walls with pictures. 

 I promised her we will get a house after saving up.  She said okay and will help me now with my bills.  I appreciated that because she did make more than me but to just work together is something we now needed to do.  We sat on the couch Saturday, Alli laid her feet over my lap as she sipped her tea looking around our new place.  I looked and asked her what do you want to do today?  She replied “I don’t care, as long as I’m with you.”  I laughed saying, “You know Alli, you didn’t have to get Pregnant to move in.”  She lifted her foot and brought it down on my lap hard then squinted her eyes.  There was a loud thud and I moaned ouch! I laughed harder, “I was kidding sweetie.”  "Ha… Ha…" she replied sarcastically.  I couldn’t mess with her cause she was holding hot tea and she knew she was safe pointing to her belly and smiling “You want more kids ?"she asked as her foot was right about my lap ready to come down on my groin.  I smiled looking at her deep in the eyes, “Only with you.”  Her eye’s dropped and she placed her foot down and said “Really, you want more with me? We don’t have our first yet.”  I looked at her and said I already know were going to be fine.  She smiled telling me I was so sweet.

            I started to rub her feet and she looked at me smiling telling me “Awee thank you.”  We just spent the day relaxing and resting.  I watched TV and rubbed her feet as she was on the couch bundled up with a blanket dozing in and out.  I did tell Alli we need a game plan not only to care for our child but we need to think about how to tell everyone who knows we just have been dating for a month or so.  She closed her eyes and told me we would, but today we will rest.  I agreed continuing to rub her feet.  We ended up getting dinner that night and I asked her what made her do all this and what she did and thought about the past few weeks.  She told me she thought a lot and that she did seek out a friend.  I asked who and she told me she would tell me all about later.  She told me it was nothing for me to get nervous or jealous about, just someone who always had good advice and could keep a secret.  I told her that was fine and when she was ready to tell me she can.  She smiled as we cleaned up and then spent the night staying in with our phones put away.  We curled up in a big blanket and I held her as we watched some movies and continued to listen to the rain fall. 

            It was a very tough start to the month, at first I was worried I may be a single parent. I don’t know what happened those two weeks but I am so glad everything worked out.  So far that is.  I told her I was nervous when we were arguing weeks ago and I was, but something just clicked and I stepped up.  I’ll never explain it but this news didn’t shake me at all, maybe Alli really is the one, the one that no matter what happens I will be there and never give up.  Only time will tell and I knew I wanted all the time to just be with her.  I loved her and when she showed up on my door I knew she loved me to and knew we would be ok and work through anything…

Chapter 13: Then Everything Changed Forever…

           It was now early December and Alli and I were in full swing, our relationship was amazing and each weekend we spent almost every day together.  During the week we would text or hang out but the weekends allowed us to just finally spend quality time together.  One Friday while at work I received a text from Alli…

Alli: Hey, how’s your day?

Me: Hey you!  Its fine, working and thinking about you!?

Alli: It’s Okay, can we talk tonight?

Me: Sure you want to talk now? 

Alli: No I think in person is best.

Me: I’m getting scared, everything ok?

Alli: Can you come over after work?

Me: Alli? 

Alli: Just come by?

Me: Of course, what time do you get out today?

Alli: I didn’t go in so I’m home now.

Me: I can leave early I’m sure.

Alli: It’s Okay I don’t want you to get in trouble.

Me: No it’s nothing, I’m scared tell me you’re ok.

Alli: I’ll see you after work.

            The rest of the day was horrible. I didn’t know what to think.  I figured something happened or a big secret she never told me or could she want to break up?  That would be terrible I thought as I tried to continue to work.  We finally found love and now she wants to end things?  What could be the issue, is there someone else?  Is she not happy, or something I did or said?  Why would she not want to be with me I thought?  All these ideas rushed through my mind as the day dragged on.  I didn’t text her anymore because I didn’t want to bother her.  Work ended and I left, I got in my car and the nervousness grew.  I finally got to her apartment and was just a mess wondering if this was the last time I would ever come here or even see her again.  I got out and just walked slowly wondering and breathing deeply to calm down.  I ran her bell and waited for her to come open the door here it goes I thought.  Alli answered, she was in comfortable clothes and her eyes looked like she was crying and had a sad and confused look on them, they were very heavy.  I stepped in and kissed her, she was a bit shy at first but kissed me back.  I kicked my shoes off and walked in. 

           

            She asked if I needed a drink or anything but I was ok I said.  She asked me to sit down and I did.  “Alli I’m really scared.”  She looked at me, got really nervous and her eyes started watering up.  “This is it isn’t it, your breaking up with me.”  I said this as my eyes teared up.  “Was it something I did or said?”  I went on, "are you not happy is there someone else?  Do you just want to be single or did your family not like me?  I can work with anything" I said, "can we at least talk?"  She started talking and told me to just listen.  I promised her I would and I sat with nervous eyes.  She started going on talking about how the last few weeks she hasn’t being feeling well she told me she hasn’t been eating right in weeks.  I told her I noticed and got scared but didn’t want to upset her by always asking.  She told me it came and went and when she felt ok she would eat again.  She went on telling me she would have days of throwing up and just dizziness.  I started to get really worried but continued to listen.  She told me earlier this week she set up a doctor appointment.  She then went on and said she was on birth control but sometimes missed and wasn’t perfect.  She talked about how sometimes it makes her sick so maybe it was that.  I started to get really nervous thinking she was very ill.  She told me she went today and they ran some small test and some bloodwork.  I told her I would be here for her and nothing will make me leave.  I looked in her eyes, now tears pouring down her cheeks.  She took something from her pocket and showed me, I saw the device and knew exactly what it was.  I looked down as she handed me it and muttered,   “Dave, I’m pregnant.” 

            I stopped, time stood still. I knew I had only one second before my first expression would show and let her know what was on my mind.  I closed my eyes for a split second and gathered myself.  I opened them staring at her just looking at me wondering what I will do or say.  I sit close to her and take her hands.  “It will be ok Allison.”  I said this very softly, she smiled a bit but looked down.  She went on ranting a bit telling me we are not ready for this, she was not ready for this.  Things then took a turn for the worse as she raised her voice and panic set it.   “We don’t even live together.”  She screamed, "how can we possible raise a child?  Everyone is going to be so upset, my parents, friends what am I going to do," she yelled.  I sat quietly letting her vent and yell getting everything out.  It wouldn’t be good if we both got upset that’s for sure.  She continued talking about how it was all her fault how she didn’t take her birth control pills on time or at all somedays.  She told me she didn’t think it could honestly happen.  I stopped her saying it was both our decisions not being safe.  I told her I knew what I was getting into as well.  I tried to hold her but she didn’t want that.  I tried to comfort her but I think she was frantic.  I tried to make a joke and ask if she was sure it was mine.  She looked up and furrowed her brow, “Really Dave? You think I’ve been fucking other guys?"  I stuttered saying “No, I… was making light?”  She walked up to me and I got nervous, "I would never cheat on you and haven’t had sex in so long before you."  She was upset and I knew it, however I had every right to be nervous or scared, this was my child too. 

I took her hands telling her whatever she wanted to do I would support her.  She got upset, “Do?” She said, she continuing on telling me of course she was going to keep it.  I stopped her saying that wasn’t what I meant, I was hoping she would.  I meant anything else.  I decided she ranted enough maybe I can shout a bit and bring her back.  “This is my life too!”  I shouted and continued on trying to tread lightly, but yes I knew the risk and the first time we hooked up to the last.  "I knew and honestly every time I finished there was a part that realized this could be it, she could get pregnant and know you know what I did."  She looked at me with a question on her face.  I finished what I said, why because as crazy as it sounds “I just knew you would be the one I would be so lucky to have a family with.  I know we have only met a bit ago and that sounds nuts but I didn’t want to say anything Alli.  I’ve dated and I’m older so I know what I want in life and can find it sooner than your typical guy who is just young and dumb."  I continued on saying I won’t leave and I figured she would be happy with me not freaking out as bad or just leaving all together.

She understood what I was saying and thanked me for stepping up but it was all too real and she was just scared.  We sat in silence as well as talking. As the night grew on, neither one of us ate as our stomachs wouldn’t allow for it.  I asked if she wanted me to spend the night and she said as much as she still cares for me and knows I’m trying she just isn’t sure, maybe I need to be alone she said “this wasn’t exactly planned.”  She looked up at me upset telling me her apartment lease was done and she either needs to renew her lease or move out.  She cried, "I’m pregnant and I don’t know if I should re-up my lease or move home.”  I tell her to move in with me, "I have two bedrooms, parking is nice, it is in a good place, it is a bit smaller but cozy."  She smiled saying thank you but she didn’t want to feel the baby was making us move in.  I stopped her, telling her I would want this even if she didn’t have the baby.  We have been dating a while I stated but we do well when we stay over at our places.  I looked at her and told her "I know your strengths and weakness and you know mine.  You can’t do this alone," I said and "I know this isn’t ideal like dating, getting married buying a house then having a baby but it’s our deal so we have to push through.  Besides I said you are going to be the hottest pregnant woman in the world!"

She then started going off about Jenn’s wedding.  “I’m supposed to be in a wedding early next year.”  She continued on expressing how Jenn’s going to be so mad I’ll be showing and that she won’t fit in a dress and how she’s going to be the unmarried pregnant bridesmaid up there.  She cried even harder saying that people will talk or judge her.  I took hold of her looking at her and saying she is going to look beautiful and her friends won’t care, they will support her!  I told her that a pregnant bridesmaid is good luck too!  She didn’t believe it and told me I was just trying to make light of the situation.  

  I tried my case to my best ability and sighed looking down but not arguing, I hugged her and told her I know she will be the one carrying this child and some may judge but this is our child and we carry the joy and burden together.  “I don’t care what you say I’m not leaving I won’t do it.  You can love me or hate me but I’ll be here for you Alli.”   I said holding her hands and crying a bit. I kissed her forehead and told her to just please talk to me tomorrow.  I did everything I could and respected her wishes and put my jacket on and shoes at the door.  I didn’t want to upset her anymore and maybe it was best if I got some air as well.  Alli came over to the door and told me she just needs time to process this all and will reach out to me, but in the meantime to just let her be and give her some air.  Before Alli shut the door I looked at her saying, “All you have to do is show up at my door and I’ll take you in and we can do this as a team and no matter your crazy moods through the months I’ll be there, I promise.”  I then told her either way, as a couple or not I am not stepping down or walking away.  She was crying as she shut the door.  I took a deep breath of cool air and headed to my car to go home.

            The next day I woke up, I was going to be a father I thought as I looked up at my ceiling.  This was one of the first Saturdays I woke up without Allison next to me.  It was horrible, I had gotten used to her next to me on the weekends and now I lay in bed alone.  I wondered what was going through her mind.  I wanted to give her space so that day I cleaned up my place got some laundry done and just hung out trying not to think about things.  I texted Alli that night just some small talk telling her I won’t say anything to anyone but I was glad she told me and I do hope I was the first to know.  She replied telling me she hasn’t told anyone either and that of course she would tell me first, I am the father.  I tried telling her everything I could to let her know I was going to be there.  She grew quiet and I didn’t know what to do so I gave her space.  I started cleaning my apartment very deeply, I wanted to get it ready for a child with Alli there or not.  I called my parents and asked them if I could have some of my old furniture in case I ever needed it.  They said of course and to just get what I needed ever.  I thanked them, I had another year on my lease so I couldn’t leave or even really look for a house.  I knew it was time to save however and work really hard.  Sunday came and I just looked around my house thinking of how to get the house ready.  I went through my bills and finances and started to cut things I didn’t need saving every penny.  I had to get this place ready for a baby, whether Alli and I stayed together or not…

Chapter 12: Thanksgiving/Meeting our Parents

The next day she had her coffee in bed, watching TV and smiling as I woke.  “How you doing there BF?”  I went over last night and she laughed, telling me everything including cuming all over her car.  She told me honestly it was so hot and maybe she’ll do it again.  She got up and kissed me. "We're going to my parents’ house first right?" she asked.  "Yea," I said, "Noon to be exact then we need to get to my family’s house by 5."  "Okay." she said as she stripped down getting a towel and heading to the shower.  “Need some company?" I smiled.  She smiled back saying to just rest knowing we have a long day ahead and most likely involving some kind of sex.  I laughed and said ok, she smiled telling me next time for sure.  I just relaxed in bed taking a sip or two off Alli’s coffee, not being much of a coffee drinker but with no water or tea around it was better than nothing.  She came back from her shower towel around her body and one in her hair.  She jumped in bed and laid next to me, we watched TV and just kissed a bit and talked.  She grunted per we had to get up and get ready.  I got dressed up and she threw some clothes on from last night.  We headed over to her place where she got ready.  As we drove to her parents I asked if we were supposed to bring anything and she said no just us.  We pulled into a beautiful area with very nice houses.  “You’re rich?” I looked at her asking.  Laughing, "No," she replied, “my parents are. However I never took advantage of it, I wanted to work hard my whole life. They helped with some stuff but I wanted to be my own person." She kissed me as I parked and said “Don’t think about it, were all just people on this planet.”  I loved when she talked like that.  We got out and I looked down thinking, “You look fine Dave.”  She kissed me and we walked in.  "Alli!" I heard her mom call out and came over.  Her Mom was so sweet she hugged me introducing herself.  Her name was Mary she was about Alli’s height and had strawberry hair like Alli.  That light red color, not dark red but not blond.  She smiled telling me she heard so much about me.  I was pleased to meet her and Alli’s father came over.  "Hey pumpkin" he said hugging her.  She replied "Hi Daddy" hugging him back.  He shook my hands telling me it was nice to meet me.  His name was Tim, he was tall and looked very nice but protective of his daughter you could tell.

“Hey Brat!” I heard as her brother came in.  She pushed him, this was Jack. He was several years younger than her but they were close I could tell.  He shook my hand laughing, “So you’re the one she’s torturing.”  "Shut up Jack" Alli said pushing him again.  He seemed nice and a lot of fun.  He was in his younger twenties and was just finishing up school, you could tell per he looked like he was on a small break, unshaven and on his phone most of the afternoon.  We sat and talked about where I work and what I do. Alli’s parents were happy I hoped, I do have a good job I thought.  Alli still a bit higher up than me in her company however I felt that was sexy not bitter.  The doorbell rang and more people arrived, Alli went and greeted everyone with me. 

It was her Aunt and Uncle along with their kids, Alli’s cousins were in their mid to lower 20’s.  Ken and Margaret were Alli’s Uncle and Aunt, Margaret and Alli’s Mom were sisters.  Josh was in his lower twenties and hung out with Jack.  Stephanie a bit older and kind of closer to us smiled as she introduced herself.  She blushed a bit and got flirty.  Alli raised her one eyebrow and Stephanie looked down.  I whispered to Alli she meant no harm.  Alli said back, "No she does trust me, she’s not shy and innocent."  I said "really?" scratching my chin. Alli hit my chest and said just sit down stud.  I laughed and we continued all too just talk.  Alli’s father has a brother and family but they are all out of state so they weren’t in town.  Alli’s one remaining grandmother arrived who still drove.  She was older so didn’t drive much.  She was sweet and took a liking to me, she winked at Alli, I just laughed watching Alli blush.  Some neighbors stopped by as well but there was plenty of room, Alli’s parents house was very big and there were a few tables setup for the event.  The house was full and I remember Alli pulling me away saying “Hey let me show you the house!”  Stephanie chimed in saying she would come, looking at me.  Alli told her to relax she can do this.  Just then Alli’s Mom called to Stephanie to come help her, Alli pulled my hand sneaking me off. We walked around the house and looked outside a bit, the neighborhood was beautiful and their back yard too.  Big in ground swimming pool and nice deck.  I told Alli how amazing but she laughed saying "remember I’m part Irish we don’t tan we burn."  I laughed saying "so no bikinis?"  She stopped me saying “Ohh I own a lot, you’ll see.”  I said back, “Yea I will as they end up on our floor.”  She smiled and winked.  She continued to tour me around and she brought me upstairs.  The master bedroom was amazing and she showed me her brother’s room quick, it was a mess.  He was still living home but that was fine because he was younger. 

She took my hand and brought me into her room.  It was cute and still setup. Alli explained she only brought some stuff over, it was easier to just buy some stuff for her new place.  I quietly shut and locked her door as she looked around.  She told me stories and it was cute just looking at the setup.  I chimed in “So lot of guys seen this place huh?”  She giggled "ohh maybe a few but I’m sure you’re not angel!"  I laughed as she kissed me saying, “Maybe you’ll be the last.”  I kissed her neck and she moaned, I then reminded her about her fantasy.  I dropped to my knees kissing her stomach and then undoing her pants she didn’t resist, it just felt to good.  I started licking her legs and inner thighs.  She just shaved that morning so she was so smooth, all over too.  I licked her out as she kicked her pants off and fell to her bed.  I started talking to her as I licked her.  Telling her we shouldn’t be doing this with everyone down stairs.  They are waiting, Alli would breathe hard then moan “Fuck it, just keep licking me out.”  I kept going deeper and deeper, she just kept moaning and telling me not to stop. Classic Thanksgiving meal, everyone had good conversation but most importantly didn’t focus on me.  After we ate we cleaned up and just played a few family games and hung out.  We were doing dessert with my family so we couldn’t stay to long, however Alli’s family was very understanding.  It was close to 5 so we said goodbye to everyone and I gave everyone a hug, Stephanie gave me a bit longer one.  Her parents said it was nice to meet me and we headed out.  Alli on the way to the car thanked me and I told her it was my pleasure.  I asked if Stephanie was always like that.  She said unfortunately yea, she hit on a lot of my guy friends.  I asked why she doesn’t go out and get her own man. She laughed as we got in saying she does, she probably gets too many.  I replied with an “Ohh I see.”  We drove to my parents’ home and Alli complemented on the cute area.

 Their house was nice, it was smaller than Alli’s parents but it did the job for my family.  Alli told me how cute it was and that big houses aren’t all that so don’t think about it.  We walked in and my Mom and Dad greeted us.  Emily, my Mom gave me a big hug and smiled when she saw Alli, “Ohh she is beautiful” she said hugging her.  She went on, “I love this hair very cute must be that Irish in you huh?”  I looked down feeling embarrassed but Alli took it with stride laughing saying “Yea I’m not full Irish but mostly.”  Tom, my Dad came in and hugged me and then Alli, she smiled and hugged him back saying how nice it was to meet him.  He made a joke about how she was too pretty to be with me but my Mom hit him and we walked into the house.  We walked to the family room to say hi to my grandma who was with them that day.  She was my last remaining older family member and she hugged me tight.  She was excited to see Alli, she told Alli how pretty she was and again Alli just smiled softly, we talked a bit then I showed her around and she really enjoyed it.  She said our home was so cute and cozy.  We walked around and went upstairs.  I showed her my room as she laughed saying “Is there where all the girls come?”  I told her sarcastically “Yeah they all flock here.”  I held and kissed her telling her I only wanted to show one more girl my old room and I just did.  She blushed and kissed me back.  My room had some things still in it like my old bed and some large dressers I may take one day to a house if I ever get one but for now my parents hold on to some of my stuff.  My little sister Hailey was in her room so I barged in and she looked up with surprise. “Dave!”  She yelled and hugged me.  I introduced her to Alli who she took a big liking to.  We talked a bit and I asked how she was doing.  She just got out of college and was looking for work, still at home but she didn’t mind.  We all got called down for dessert.  My parents have family like sisters and brothers but everyone was out this year or lived away so it was just my Mom, Dad, Sister and Grandma.  They already ate and were relaxing which is when we got there.

           

           

We had some dessert as my family was so excited to learn about Alli and her family.  Alli didn’t mind, she talked and got to know everyone.  My sis loved her from the start, she talked her ear off as I just sat and smiled.  Alli’s eyes said it all, she didn’t mind and she always wanted a little sister so she actually loved talking to Hailey.  The day drew on and we just hung out playing games now with my family and hearing them tell old stories about me.  Alli loved it and talked to my Mom as she showed pictures of me growing up.  “You are so cute David.”  Alli said flipping through picture books.  I told my Mom she didn’t have to bring out the pictures but you know Mom’s right.  Alli on the other hand absolutely loved it, each book just made her smile more as she flipped through my life growing up.  The night came and after some coffee and tea we started to pack up.  My Mom and Dad gave us a big hug and we said goodbye to my Grandma and Sis.  We headed back to Alli’s apt to get a bag per we would probably crash at my place.  Alli loved her apt but really enjoyed mine.  I think it was the layout and the parking was easier.  We talked in her apt as she got stuff for my place.  She told me how sweet my family was and we exchanged complements about each family.  We got back to my place and got dressed.  I heard her laugh as she dressed.  “UHG I leaked hardcore.”  I looked at her saying, we’ll sex is messy right?  She laughed changing and said “I know I love that about us.”

With the very long day over we got in comfortable PJ’s and settled in with some TV.  We both had the next day off which was really nice per we could sleep in and do pretty much anything.  We visited family and now had the long weekend to ourselves.  What a day I said laying down on my comfortable couch.  Alli came in and snuggled next to me telling me it was very long but good.  We ended up just resting the rest of the night.  Alli and I spent the weekend together and it was so nice.  We went out for dinners, slept in, hung out and just acted like a couple.  Alli spent the entire weekend over my place and it was amazing we never spend that long of a weekend together.  We were learning more about each other and leaned a bit how we live which was really cool.  Thanksgiving was over and now we had to think about the busy Holiday season to come!
