Chapter 4: Trial by Fire

  Friday approached and some friends started a group chat, they wanted to have a fire over John and Mel’s place.  We usually ended up there a lot per they had a nice house and back yard.  Most of our other friends had apartments or smaller homes.  They loved to host and everyone brought food and drinks anyway.  I told them why not and continued my day.  Alli and I started to text each other around lunch time with your usual hello and how things are going.  She mentioned Brittany and some friends were going to a fire at John’s place.  I told her I got the same message and that it was going to be a pretty big event.  She asked if I was going and I told her yea I think I was.  She went on telling me Amber her friend is bringing some guys.  Amber is the blond that walked into the party ahead of Alli.  She usually likes to show more skin, no matter the temperature.  I wondered if Alli was nervous about this or testing me.  I said, “Oh that should be fun”.  She asked if I was okay and gave her a yeah.  After all we’re not dating.  She asked if I could come over after work.  I asked if everything was ok and she replied it was and that she just wanted to hang out.

            After work I headed over, she texted me her address earlier in the day and advised she would be home before I got there.  I got out a bit late and with traffic arrived around 5ish.  I also stopped to get flowers and wine, for a good impressions.  She had a nice little apartment in a good section of her town.  It was cute and I figured for a girl like her.  Her apartment was more like town homes.  Not the classic large brick buildings you would think of.  In fact if looking you would think they were townhomes.  I rang her doorbell and she answered with a “Hey you”.  She let me in and I handed her the flowers and wine.  She asked with one eyebrow raised, “What is this for?”  I replied, well the wine is per it’s my first time here and always nice to bring something, the flowers are to match how beautiful you are”.  She blushed and smiled as I kicked off my shoes and came in.  She gave me a hug and at first I wasn’t sure if I should kiss her or just give her a hug.  I started to wonder but she gave me a kiss on the cheek so I did the same.

She went to put them in water as I looked around.  “Nice place you have here, very cool”.  “Yea it does the trick.” I heard her yell from the hall as she came back with a vase.  She put the flowers in water and game them one last smell. “Mmmm I love fresh flowers.”  She showed me around and gave me the nickel tour.  The kitchen, living room, closets the usual.  Her place was picked up and kept clean.  No animals or roommates just her.  She was walking me down the hall when she showed me her bedroom.  “This is it, where no magic happens.”  I laughed and said “Sure you say that”.  She laughed and replied, “No really it’s actually pretty sad.”  Trying not to keep an awkward silence I again told her I really liked the place. 

We went back out to the family room and she said she had to get ready.  I put the TV on and she got me a glass of water.  I heard the shower running then after a bit stopping.  I could hear her getting ready and I just sat patiently.   Finally after what seemed a good amount of time I got up and thought maybe I can just see if she needs help.  I walked to her door which was cracked and knocked softly, opening it as I did.  “Alli, you need anything or help”.  I stepped in as she was by her dresser just finalizing some last touches.  I stopped in awe, “Wow you look amazing”.  She had cute jeans on, a white light top and a light long sweater jacket deal.  It had buttons but she kept it open.  She had a cute infinity scarf on and her hair was down.  She hadn’t put makeup on yet.  She turned and blushed, and thanked me but it was just a fall outfit.

I walked over and kissed her, I put my hands on her neck and just kissed her as deep and sensual as I could.  She kissed me back and after a while we broke.  She looked at me and deeply saying “What took you so long”.  I replied sorry, “It’ll never happen again.”  We started kissing again I couldn’t help it I moved my hands all over her body touching her over her cloths and moaning as we kissed.  She pushed me to the bed and laid me down.  I smiled looking up at her and she sat on my lap undoing my belt and dress pants.  Long day at the office huh?  She said this smiling.  Let’s get you comfortable.  Before I knew it my bottoms were on the floor.  Her bed was very comfortable as I was watching her pull her hair back I wondered what she was doing.  She just gave me the deepest smile.  She then kissed my stomach and moved down my legs.  She started rubbing me and I moaned uncontrollably.  She pulled my boxers off and they landed someplace far. 

She licked me bottom to top and then put me in her mouth.  I moaned so much harder and slide my hands over my head.  It was her place and I wasn’t going to be rude and stop her I thought.  She kissed, sucked and licked me giving me oral I never knew existed.  I cried out with a “Fuck your amazing.”  She replied with a moan as she just kept going.  Deeper and deeper but she was gentle as she worked me.  I placed my hand on her hair that was tied up now and played with it as she pleasured me.  I loved watching her beautiful hair run through my fingers.  I have received oral before yes but not like this.  I was wondering if she was good because she did this a lot or just a natural.  After a bit I started to lose control.  Should I pull her up, do I leave her?  All questions a guy asks when in this spot.  A good guy that is.  I quietly moaned I was close and she can come up.  She didn’t do anything but keep going and moaning.

Finally I lost control and moaned I was Cumming.  I couldn’t help it, but she didn’t stop she just kept going and moaning until I was finished.  I felt her mouth move and saw her throat close and open.  It was so incredibly hot, I just finishing and she kept working me.  Finally I relaxed and saw her move.  She sat up and smiled, “that was a lot!”  I apologized and she told me to stop it, that it was really hot. 

I put my head back and closed my eyes moaning “Damn Alli” She giggled as she sat on me, “I take it I did a good job?”  She wiped the corners of her mouth and winked.  I tried to stop you, I said.  She replied, “I know that is one of the reasons I swallowed, it’s nice for a guy to let a girl now so she can choose.”  However she went on I wanted to swallow and knew I would before we even started.  She said she didn’t much and it won’t always happened, I replied “I wasn’t even used to getting that at all so I don’t mind swallowing or not.  She came up and cuddled next to me.  I told her I could just pass out, she laughed and said wouldn’t that be nice?  You were amazing I said, she replied “I hope you don’t think I do this a lot lol”.  I said well I mean, she cut me off, “I really don’t.”  I said ohh, fast learner.  She stopped me laughing and saying don’t worry it’s like I’ve done it a lot.  “No, no it’s not my business.”  I said this to try to back pedal.  She giggled, “Your so cute she explained” I looked and said, “Hey its ok I’ve seen a few female bodies before too.”  She smirked and got up saying I was cute and smiled. 

I got up and before I could make a move she said, “Nope this was my treat to you.”  I asked if she was sure.  She handed me my pants and said yup!  I got dressed and our phones started going off via text from our friends asking when the party started and what everyone was doing.  I told her I loved her place but didn’t want to feel like I came over got lucky then left!  She replied, “Then maybe next time I can go to your place and you can go down on me and I’ll go!”  I said ok sounds like a plan laughing.  She asked if I was going to okay per she was meeting some guy per her friends.  I said “Yea just lock the bathroom this time if you bring one in.” she burst out laughing and smiled, that is only our thing she said.  We kissed at the door and I ran my hands over her cheeks telling her I will see her tonight.  She replied, I can’t wait, as I left she started to close the door and said smiling.  “Hey Dave, thanks for dinner then winked.”  I smiled back thinking that was so sexy, damn she’s hot.   

           

            I got back to my apt and cleaned up a bit, took a long shower and threw on some cargos with a white tee and button down dark blue shirt to match my eyes.  Some cologne a little water in my hair and one more glance in the mirror.  I was set, grabbed a light coat and headed out.  I stopped to pick up something to pass like a bottle and mixers.  I arrived closer to 8ish and the party was well under way.  I was getting text from everyone bugging me on where I was so when I walked in it was no surprise everyone stopped to turn then make fun of me.  I just replied with my classic line, “I’m, not late, I’m early for tomorrow!”  The house laughed and I made my way in setting up my bottle in the kitchen.  John and Mel like to have one more big fire before Halloween and before it gets to cold.  This was kind of their fall bash before everyone starts to party indoors per the snowfall.  I hugged both John and Mel per they were hosting but also because John is one of my best friends.  I then worked around to my other friends saying hello.  I saw a group of people I only knew a bit and saw a circle of people all by the living room sitting down talking.

I knew Brittany and her boyfriend was there but I didn’t know him that well or care to.  He wasn’t the nicest guy to her and people knew it.  Then there were a few other guys and girls I didn’t really know.  I saw Amber sitting next to Alli she was laughing at something a guy next to Alli said.  She was doing one of those to hard laughs that shows it wasn’t that funny but who knows.  The guy next to Alli must be the one that was setup for her, he was ok.  Handsome I would say but something about him, almost like a Wall Street kind of look.  Mr. I drive a nice car and have money look.  I wasn’t nervous however I just rolled with it and moved on.

           

Mel walked over and say “Oh Dave here meet some new friends!”  She goes “Everyone, this is Dave, long friend of John and I.”  She went around the room introducing everyone, I shook each hand.  She then got to Alli.  Alli stood up and said “Hi, Allison”. Then gave a very slight smile and tiny wink.  I replied it was nice to meet her.  The guy stood up almost proclaiming he was with her extending out his had showing off his flashy watch.  Trent, he introduced himself as.  I talked for a bit then excused myself to get a drink.  I talked with friends and caught up with ones I didn’t see much.  I would glance over in Alli’s direction but not look weird or look like I was staring.  I just noticed Trent kept her almost to close, with his hand by on her Elbow, you know that power move guys do to control someone.  I didn’t like it but what was I gonna do go over and push him?  I put back my drink and walked to my friends in the kitchen and started retelling old stories and jokes.  They all erupted and laughed.  I was taking center stage and not holding back!  I heard Mel in the other room say, “Oh Dave’s breaking out the stories again.”  I could tell by glancing over she wanted to hear them so bad but was stuck next to Mr. Money for some reason I don’t know why till this day.  I kept the crowd going till John announced we can go outside.  A few of us helped get the fire going and everyone got a seat and settled in.  Trent offered his lap to Alli but she smiled and said she was fine.  I laughed to myself as I heard this.  The fire got started and everyone applauded, I took my showstopper bow and sat down across the fire from Alli. 

People were all having different conversations and of course we started talking about why some of us are single still.  Everyone was making jokes and saying different things, the single ones I guess.  Brittany asked out loud “Dave what’s the story you have been single for a bit now, ready to jump back into things?”  I smiled, Mel stepped in, “Dave’s complicated, in a good way.”  Then smiled at me, she always had my back, her and John always supported me and knew my last breakup wasn’t easy and I always hated being asked things like that.  Brittany and I were friends and honestly she was just being nice.  Trent spoke up with is wall street answer, “Yea who needs to really date just go have fun and then what ever see you know”.   Acting like some player, really you are here meeting someone and you say that I thought?  What an ass, I took a sip of my drink and just tuned into other conversations.

  Alli eye’s and mine continued to lock over the fire every several minutes but Trent would then start talking to her so she would pay attention to him.   She laughed and replied, I sat back and closed my eyes taking a breath.  Getting out of the last relationship was enough I didn’t want to start getting nervous over someone new.  I got up after hearing Trent yet again try to push moves on Alli and didn't care to see the outcome.  I went inside and started to clean up and make a drink.  A few minutes later Alli came in and walked over to me.  She said “Quite the guy huh”.  I smiled and replied, “Yea he sure is something”.  Alli spoke up, “I’m not sure what we are Dave, it’s not like I’m going to go sleep with him or anything”.  I stopped her saying “Hey its ok your right we just met tonight.” I shrugged my shoulders and started to wipe down the counters.

            She put her hand on mine stopping it mid wipe, “Are you mad at me?”  Before I could answer Trent came inside and spoke. “Ohh hey am I interrupting something?”  No I replied we were just making some drinks.  “Sweet!”  I’ll do a shot, a body shot as he put his hands on Alli’s waist.  She made a sour face then smiled to be polite.  Showing dominance he stood behind her making it clear where he stood.  Alli stood quiet not saying anything.  Well I actually better get back out side I said.  I went back out and they came out several minutes later he had an odd look to him she looked a bit more stern.  I kept talking with friends and just hung out as the fire died out and people started to leave.  I said goodbye to everyone and thanked the host.  Mel hugged me longer than usual asking if I was ok.  I said I was, she replied “Don’t lie to me David I’ve know you too long.”  She put her hands on my shoulders then my face looking at me directly.  John walked up and replied, yea don’t lie to her she’ll catch you, lol.  I took her hands and held them saying it was ok.  She didn’t believe it but took the answer I gave her.  I was just at the door when Alli came up and said goodbye.  “Hey Dave, have a good night okay?”  Yea, you too Alli I said.  Trent came up behind her asking if she wanted to grab something to eat.  She then smiled a bit of confidence back saying, “I’m actually ok, I had a nice snack before I came and am still full, but thanks.”  She tried to throw me a wink but I didn’t really see it.  I headed to my car and went home.  I wasn’t mad or upset just not sure where I was honestly.  Do I turn my phone off and not care what happens or reach out to Alli.  I wasn’t sure but I played it safe and just put my phone down, cleaned up and crashed.  It was a long night, and I was exhausted.
